LOT 2 Victorian Childrens' Books Clark's ONT Thread Sewing Advertising Premiums
Item Description:
Here's a pair of late Victorian era children's booklets, which feature charming images and stories that
advertise Clark's ONT Thread
. The Rock A Bye Baby book
features nursery rhymes that promote their thread with sepia toned, detailed illustrations,
and the Grandmother's Stories booklets shares a little "story" and color and black and white drawings that of course promote their product.
The Rock A Bye Baby one has a pencilled name on the cover.
A cute little advertising premium and some clever marketing. They make an eye-catching and charming display for your sewing or advertising collection!
Condition:
Good, used antique condition (see photos). There's some creasing and a few small tears along the seam.
Size:
Approx. 2 1/4" by 4 3/4".
